eMedia Marketer is written by online marketer Roger Peatling from Surrey in the UK. With a background spanning 18 years in the digital Media industry Roger is a bit of an old goat when it comes to digital media.

Starting in broadcast design and progressing to web based media at it’s inception (a very natural and well trodden path!) Roger’s focus and skills now range from design and web technology deployment to online marketing and Search Engine Optimisation.

Roger is a former studying member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has worked on web projects for the UK Government, major blue chips and lots of smaller businesses as well. He is also a certified Avid broadcast editor, and a streaming media consultant. Roger contributes to a number of online communities, been interviewed for magazines and has been a guest speaker at several trade shows.

Roger currently is retained by a couple of businesses, Matek Business Media Ltd and Digital Forest Interactive for which he is a Director. Roger can also be found posting on his Mac tech blog – Mac IT Pro and he is a member of the Blog Foundry, a local blogging community.
